Therapist

Isa Yanes

Isa Yanes believes therapy is one of the greatest gifts a person can give themselves. It takes courage to ask for help, and she is committed to creating a warm, supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted as they are.

As a Marriage and Family Therapy Student Intern, Isa works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, self-esteem, and family conflict. She has a particular passion for helping couples strengthen connection and communication, and enjoys supporting young adults as they navigate life's changes and figure out who they want to become.

Before training as a therapist, Isa worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and ODD alongside their families. That work shaped how she approaches therapy today, with patience, collaboration, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.

Isa is a bilingual therapist-in-training, offering sessions in English and Spanish, and she's intentional about creating a space where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed, understood, and respected. She believes healing happens through connection, and works alongside her clients to build on their strengths and move toward the relationships and life they want to create.

“The therapists helped me see that making changes can be something beautiful, like a game, without worry. Little by little, my mindset shifted. I became more aware, and that’s the huge step I am truly grateful for.”
