Jeanette Balayla

Jeanette Balayla is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Relationship Coach who also identifies as a daughter, sister, wife, and friend. She founded Full Time Human with a clear vision: to remind people that despite different experiences, we all share a desire for connection, love, and wellness. Jeanette earned a Bachelor’s in Public Health from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Her academic training, combined with a deep personal journey of self-discovery and self-love, fuels her mission to help clients enhance their authenticity, develop their strengths, and embrace vulnerability for positive transformation. As a dynamic keynote speaker, Jeanette has worked with organizations like United Way of Broward and Miami Dade College, spreading awareness about mental health, emotional intelligence, and family therapy.

Co-founded Full Time Human with mom Doris Jucht.

2022

External Practicum Internship Student Therapist at Systemic Solutions Counseling  Center - Providing therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Solution-Focused Coaching Certification at Nova Southeaster University.

Graduated with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

2021

 Internal Practicum Student Therapist at the Brief Therapy Institute of NOVA.

External Practicum Internship Student Therapist at the PROMISE Program (Systemic Change in Schools) - Providing crisis interventions, individual therapy, and risk assessments for students of ages 12 -18 years old using a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy model.



2020

Enrolled at Nova Southeastern University for a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Participation as a Student Member for the MFT Club at NOVA.

Joined the RedsGoGreen Team - designed an online coaching program to develop a better relationship with food accessible to everyone around the world.



2019

Explored career options, working in a medical office as a Patient Intake and Clinical Coordinator.

2018

Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree (Pre-Medical Track).

Realized after 4 years of pre-medical training that I did not want to be a Doctor.

2016-2018

Medical Research Program Assistant for the Woman’s Health Initiative at the University of Florida.

Graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Health Sciences from Santa Fe College.
