Therapist

Maria Fleitas

Maria Fleitas is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who supports teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating life's challenges, trauma, relationship difficulties, and feelings of disconnection from themselves or others. She believes therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, better understand ourselves, and build more meaningful connections.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and systemic, recognizing how relationships, culture, environment, and personal experiences shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. As a bilingual therapist offering sessions in English and Spanish, Maria creates a culturally responsive space where clients feel respected, understood, and welcomed.

Krystina Thermidor believes therapy should be collaborative and something that can help anyone. She sees her clients as the experts in their own lives, and her job is to offer support, perspective, and practical tools that help them move forward.

Krystina earned her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University and is currently completing her clinical hours toward licensure. She draws from CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, IFS, and EFT within an Integrative Systemic Therapy framework, helping clients build on their own strengths to create lasting change.

She's intentional about creating a space where clients of all identities, especially those who are often marginalized, feel safe to be themselves. Krystina helps clients build healthier, more connected relationships, with themselves and with the people around them.

Maria believes therapy is not about telling people who they should become, but helping them discover their strengths, make sense of their experiences, and create new possibilities. She works alongside clients to navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and move toward a more fulfilling and connected life.

“My therapist is an excellent professional, friendly and understanding, knows how to listen and gives her objective opinion. Personally, it has helped me a lot.”
