Play is a child's natural language. Play-Based Therapy at Full Time Human gives children a safe and supportive space to express emotions, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and work through challenges in ways that feel natural to them.
Through guided play and developmentally appropriate activities, children can explore their experiences while building skills that support their emotional and social growth.

“My therapist is an excellent professional, friendly and understanding, knows how to listen and gives her objective opinion. Personally it has helped me a lot.”
- Full Time Human Client
Our approach uses the way children naturally communicate and connect to create a supportive therapeutic experience tailored to their emotional and developmental needs.
Child-Centered Approach: We meet children where they are, using creativity, imagination, movement, and connection to create a therapeutic experience that feels natural and engaging.
Creative Expression: Games, pretend play, art, storytelling, and other activities can give children new ways to explore feelings and process experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
Emotional & Coping Skills: Therapy can help children strengthen emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, confidence, and healthy coping skills.
Support for Different Challenges: Play-Based Therapy may support children navigating anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, behavioral concerns, trauma, grief and loss, family changes, low self-esteem, or difficulty expressing emotions.
Family-Centered Support: When appropriate, parents and caregivers can be part of the process, helping create additional support for the child's emotional growth outside of therapy.
Our goal is to help children feel understood, supported, and empowered as they develop skills that can serve them at home, at school, and in their relationships.
